Oratorio - Helen's Repertoire

Helen's repertoire is a living entity in itself as it is constantly growing and going in many different directions as her voice matures. As any professional soprano will tell you, a soprano's voice slowly over a period of years is constantly developing and shaping itself. Therefore her musical range and sound, as good as it already is will only get better and fuller. This is reflected in the whole aspect of Helen's repertoire, as her voice gradually grows, slowly becoming a "met so soprano". Making it possible for her to perform more specialised numbers that require a far greater vocal range, numbers that in her earlier career, would just not have been possible.

As well as carefully training her voice she likes to give it some exercise from time to time and belt out one or two rockier numbers. Helen doesn't limit herself to one style of music, she likes and loves to cover a wide range of music. Just some of the musical styles within Helen's repertoire are classical hymns, modern ballads a selection of cabaret numbers and "popera" (popular operatic numbers that have worked their way into our modern mainstream musical culture).
